We kept Dixie and her sister Wixen out of our second litter we have had under the Night Trail Kennel name in Sweden. Most of our dogs are more or less family so we had come to a point where we needed to add new blood to our lines and we were looking for good working skills, correct type and good temperament, which we believe we found at Kennel Noatak’s. Time will have to show the result of mixing our lines with the Noatak’s lines – it shall be intesting to follow these puppies grow up and see how they develop. In the everyday life Dixie is a little sweet and loving girl, she gets along with all our dogs, she is completely crazy with our puppies that are about 3 months younger than herself.
Dixie has an enormous amount of energy and lots of speed and to us her behavior is more like a sibirian husky than an alaskan malmute, so her pet name has become “Mummy’s little sibirian”. We believe she has the size and proportions from her mother Black Lotus Wild Hot N’ Sexy Tiger and the head, expression and energy from her father Noatak’s Arluk Du Niki .......she is still very young .......time will show how she will end up. In the first weekend of November 2006 Dixie attended her first show – The Alaskan Malamute Specialty – and she did pretty good for a first time (and absolutely no training before!) – she became fourth best female puppy out of 9 entered.
